Forty-nine Biennials have a list of who was there. The fiftieth will too. Twenty dollars a year puts you on it.

What the twenty dollars does

  • A vote at the Biennial

Members elect the officers and set the priorities. Non-members watch.

  • Your name in the record

Member since the 50th, and every Biennial after it. The record goes back to 1917.

  • Your city pass, posted to you

Embroidered, about three inches. You keep it whether you renew or not.

  • The member directory

Who is in your city, and who runs what. Opt out at any time.

  • The advocacy nobody sees

State legislation on interpreting, education and access. The reason FAD was founded.

Fee waiver

If twenty dollars is a problem, say so.

Membership is waived on request, no questions and no means test. Nobody at FAD sees who asked.
